Growing up in South Florida, I was 8 when we won our first title in ‘83. I lived every Hurricanes moment, every title, bleeding orange and green. Even as a USF alum, it’s all Canes, all the time.

Toast

Growing up in West Hartford, CT, I needed a college football team in the ‘80s. Miami’s bold 20-0 win over Notre Dame hooked me for life. Moving to South Florida fueled my love for the Canes, and years later, the Orange Bowl Boys podcast was born.

And before we get too far down the Duke rabbit hole this week, we do a post mortem on the Florida State Seminoles with some of the wildest stats of the week on FSU’s decline. We also touch on the rumors that Shannon Dawson might be interested in the head coaching job at Rice, and Toast says if Miami is really that good year-over-year then you should expect to replace coordinators on both sides of the ball every few years.
