And with the Canes officially in pads we head on down to Greentree, where we jump into the CBS prediction that Miami will lose in Week 1 to Notre Dame. Plus it was a nice moment for Al Golden to get his Broyles Award delivered to the Bengals facility this week.

Growing up in South Florida, I was 8 when we won our first title in ‘83. I lived every Hurricanes moment, every title, bleeding orange and green. Even as a USF alum, it’s all Canes, all the time.

Toast

Growing up in West Hartford, CT, I needed a college football team in the ‘80s. Miami’s bold 20-0 win over Notre Dame hooked me for life. Moving to South Florida fueled my love for the Canes, and years later, the Orange Bowl Boys podcast was born.
