Growing up in South Florida, I was 8 when we won our first title in ‘83. I lived every Hurricanes moment, every title, bleeding orange and green. Even as a USF alum, it’s all Canes, all the time.

Toast

Growing up in West Hartford, CT, I needed a college football team in the ‘80s. Miami’s bold 20-0 win over Notre Dame hooked me for life. Moving to South Florida fueled my love for the Canes, and years later, the Orange Bowl Boys podcast was born.

#112: Is it the Fish Tanks?

With Spring practice upon us, we’re joined by David Lake from 24/7 Sports to talk all things Canes as the guys start to hit the field. David is already drinking the Cam Ward Kool-Aid even though they’re not in pads yet, he’s just excited with the things he’s seeing early on. We’re even seeing some pop already at wide receiver as we open things up, and everyone remains positive on the involvement of the tight ends this year.

David also takes us into the running back room as they start to work out and get moving, the depth at linebacker with all the changes, and concerns at both the corner and safety positions. And the group agrees that this is the year they need to take a step forward to 9 wins.
