Growing up in South Florida, I was 8 when we won our first title in ‘83. I lived every Hurricanes moment, every title, bleeding orange and green. Even as a USF alum, it’s all Canes, all the time.

Toast

Growing up in West Hartford, CT, I needed a college football team in the ‘80s. Miami’s bold 20-0 win over Notre Dame hooked me for life. Moving to South Florida fueled my love for the Canes, and years later, the Orange Bowl Boys podcast was born.

We open the show with the unusual trio of Scoop’s new 70’s glasses, Toast’s new toe fungus and the show’s first samping of Night Owl cookies. Then we get into the Canes in the 2024 NFL Draft, and how the list of undrafted signees was longer than the list of guys that went in the formal rounds. And we try to figure out why certain guys went in the Draft and why others fell off.

Plus everyone tries to take a look at the gains and losses in the portal, and just how good Mario has shown to be in this portal recruiting cycle. And Deion Sanders has been buzzing all over social media as his time at Colorado has seemed to turn the corner, after just one year.
