Growing up in South Florida, I was 8 when we won our first title in ‘83. I lived every Hurricanes moment, every title, bleeding orange and green. Even as a USF alum, it’s all Canes, all the time.

Toast

Growing up in West Hartford, CT, I needed a college football team in the ‘80s. Miami’s bold 20-0 win over Notre Dame hooked me for life. Moving to South Florida fueled my love for the Canes, and years later, the Orange Bowl Boys podcast was born.

We open the show this week with a new University President at Miami, as Julio Frenk moves on to UCLA and Joe Echevarria stepping in as interim President, which is a great thing for the football program! But of course it’s Toast that plays devil’s advocate, as he’s afraid a change in leadership could force the athletic program to take a step back.

We also address the unnamed ACC coach that said the questions at Miami surround the coaching staff far more than the stacked roster, and Scoop goes in on Lindy Sports for leavine Rueben Bain off the All-ACC predictions.
