Growing up in South Florida, I was 8 when we won our first title in ‘83. I lived every Hurricanes moment, every title, bleeding orange and green. Even as a USF alum, it’s all Canes, all the time.

Toast

Growing up in West Hartford, CT, I needed a college football team in the ‘80s. Miami’s bold 20-0 win over Notre Dame hooked me for life. Moving to South Florida fueled my love for the Canes, and years later, the Orange Bowl Boys podcast was born.

We are all high on the Florida Panthers winning the Stanley Cup in an epic Game 7, everyone reflects on their favorite moments from the night and the subsequent morning after at the Elbo Room! Plus this year’s Blue Chip report is out and of course we bait Roman into talking about Miami’s ranking… and how it ultimately doesn’t matter. And we have to pile on Oklahoma State sideline reporter Robert Allen for saying Miami is the “cheatingest” program in the NIL market.

Miami also made 24-7’s preseason list of teams that will win at least 10 games, as they have the Canes going 11-1 with their only loss coming to Florida State… and Scoop still isn’t seeing the Florida State buzz this year. And we get a visit from the AI OBB’s as they recap the epic Stanley […]
