MIAMI WINS 41-7 vs NC State – Orange Bowl Boys 2025 Week 12 Recap Show

Roman and Toast man the show this weekend as we finally got the dominant performance we wanted to see on both sides of the ball, especially the offense who came out swinging. This game also set a huge tone for the Playoff committee as Miami passed all the eye tests, coming as close to a shutout as possible. The defense also showed up huge, holding the ACC’s leading rusher to -2 total yards, and making CJ Bailey’s life in the pocket very difficult with pressure always at his feet.

Growing up in South Florida, I was 8 when we won our first title in ‘83. I lived every Hurricanes moment, every title, bleeding orange and green. Even as a USF alum, it’s all Canes, all the time.

Toast

Growing up in West Hartford, CT, I needed a college football team in the ‘80s. Miami’s bold 20-0 win over Notre Dame hooked me for life. Moving to South Florida fueled my love for the Canes, and years later, the Orange Bowl Boys podcast was born.
