Everyone has had a bewildering week, and the College Football Playoff didn’t do us any favors by getting everyone wound up about our placement behind Notre Dame. And with Scoop out of the loop this week, we stun him right out of the gate with Paul Finebaum standing up for Miami over Notre Dame. And he’s also stunned to learn that Hunter Yurachek took over the College Football Playoff Committee, who somehow tries to make the argument that Notre Dame’s loss to Miami was somehow better than Miami’s win over Notre Dame.

Growing up in South Florida, I was 8 when we won our first title in ‘83. I lived every Hurricanes moment, every title, bleeding orange and green. Even as a USF alum, it’s all Canes, all the time.

Toast

Growing up in West Hartford, CT, I needed a college football team in the ‘80s. Miami’s bold 20-0 win over Notre Dame hooked me for life. Moving to South Florida fueled my love for the Canes, and years later, the Orange Bowl Boys podcast was born.
