And while we understand that narrative, Scoop isn’t buying into guys who only want to play for “good” teams instead of helping build a winner. Plus we have to discuss the history of things, and how important this rematch is for those of us who remember being robbed of a National Championship in 2003 and what it means for Canes fans.

Growing up in South Florida, I was 8 when we won our first title in ‘83. I lived every Hurricanes moment, every title, bleeding orange and green. Even as a USF alum, it’s all Canes, all the time.

Toast

Growing up in West Hartford, CT, I needed a college football team in the ‘80s. Miami’s bold 20-0 win over Notre Dame hooked me for life. Moving to South Florida fueled my love for the Canes, and years later, the Orange Bowl Boys podcast was born.
