Basketball and BBQ start the show this week, as we get into the Canes poor performance on the court and Ro’s trip to Kansas City. Toast experimented with the show Scoop recommended, Naked Attraction, and decided to torture the rest of the show with it.

We also fall quickly back into college football as NCAA ’25 starts to include more school songs and traditions, now that NIL runs the football world. And we try to figure out how to write off a PS5 as a show expense once the game comes out. Plus the CFP committee has approved the 5-plus-7 playoff format as we debate how Miami will fall in with the new setup.

With the Rock’s full turn back to a heel in the WWE, we play back some of the audio of him undressing the crowd. […]

Scoop

Growing up in South Florida, I was 8 when we won our first title in ‘83. I lived every Hurricanes moment, every title, bleeding orange and green. Even as a USF alum, it’s all Canes, all the time.

Toast

Growing up in West Hartford, CT, I needed a college football team in the ‘80s. Miami’s bold 20-0 win over Notre Dame hooked me for life. Moving to South Florida fueled my love for the Canes, and years later, the Orange Bowl Boys podcast was born.
